1000 Minute Challenge

The Ivanhoe Traders Association are proud to be supporting our local public hospital, Austin Health, in the upcoming 1000 Minute Challenge. After the events of 2020, the Ivanhoe Traders found a way to support Austin Health and all the front line workers. We have donated $2,500 worth of Ivanhoe Gift cards that only staff members can win. We encourage everyone to participate and raise much needed funds for an integral part of our community. Plus you’ll feel great.
Austin Health have launched an exciting new virtual event, the 1000 Minute Challenge, and we would love for you to get involved!
This event is designed to help you get active and improve your health and wellbeing, while at the same time raising funds to purchase additional medical equipment so that the healthcare heroes at Austin Health can do more for our community.
You can choose any activity you enjoy that gets your heart beating faster and muscles working harder and challenge yourself to complete 1000 minutes of physical activity in the month of March (that’s just over 30 minutes a day).
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll become a part of our supportive online community and be motivated by others doing the challenge with you. You can also track your activity on the website and be rewarded along the way – there are some great prizes and incentives up for grabs!
