Terms & Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter of the Ivanhoe Father’s Day Competition 2026 is the Ivanhoe Traders Association (IVTA), Ivanhoe, Victoria 3079 (“Promoter”).
- Competition Period
The competition opens on the date it is published on the Shop in Ivanhoe website and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 6 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
- Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Committee members, employees and contractors directly involved in the administration of the competition, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
- How to Enter
To enter, eligible participants must visit shopinivanhoe.com.au during the competition period and complete the online Father’s Day competition entry form.
Entrants must provide:
- First name
- Surname
- Email address
- Best contact phone number
- An answer of 50 words or less to the question: “Why is your father one of the best dads in Ivanhoe?”
Only complete and valid entries will be considered.
- Entry Conditions
Entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not contain material that is offensive, unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of another person.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Prizes
There are 10 Ivanhoe trader gift vouchers to be won.
Each winner will receive one Ivanhoe trader gift voucher to use at a participating Ivanhoe business, subject to any conditions or expiry dates stated on the voucher.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Judging
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Eligible entries will be judged based on the creativity, originality and appeal of the response to the competition question.
The 10 best eligible entries, as determined by the Promoter or its nominated judging panel, will each receive a prize.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process.
- Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number supplied with their entry.
Winners may also be announced through the Shop in Ivanhoe website and/or Ivanhoe social media channels.
If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, the Promoter reserves the right to select another eligible entry as the winner.
- Collection or Delivery of Prizes
The Promoter will provide winners with instructions regarding collection or delivery of their gift voucher.
Winners may be required to provide identification before receiving their prize.
- Use of Entries
By entering the competition, entrants grant the Promoter permission to reproduce, publish and share their competition response for the purpose of promoting the competition, Ivanhoe Shopping Precinct and future Ivanhoe Traders Association marketing activities.
Where an entrant’s name is published in connection with their winning entry, the Promoter may use their first name and surname unless otherwise agreed.
- Privacy
Personal information collected through the competition will be used for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting winners and awarding prizes.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and will not be sold to third parties.
Where an entrant separately consents to receive marketing communications, their details may also be used for Ivanhoe Traders Association and Shop in Ivanhoe marketing communications.
- General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If the competition cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone or cancel the competition, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received due to technical or communication issues.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
