Our business name is honouring all that was gluten free in keeping the word ‘strada’, still offering everyone’s favourite gluten free pastries (that will be displayed in their own cabinet and  made in a newly installed kitchen on our upper level, exclusively for our gluten free lines), as well as the addition of mouth watering non gluten free pastries which is represented through the word ‘Co’.

‘Strada’ also means ‘road’ in Italian, and to honour our Italian heritage, our style of food will replica the street food found on the streets of Italy – think Arancini, cannoli, mouth watering croissants, sfogliatelle, Roman style pizza by the slice, eggplant parmigiana, antipasto boards and in house baked focaccia filled with fresh deli meats and cheeses, to name a few, all hand made and baked in house every day.

Our new space includes a deli and pantry section where you will find chef ready take home meals in both gluten and gluten free offerings. We have also built a decking out back with extra seating for those coming Spring days of sunshine where customers can enjoy an aperitivo platter, Italian style!

We have been working super hard and around the clock and cannot wait to share our space with everyone!
