Owners Paul and Myrto restaurant opened Vatutto after moving from their 16 year Institution at Zio’s in East Melbourne. For 13 years Vatutto has been offering unforgettable dining experiences and celebrations at our Ivanhoe location.
Vatutto has been fully renovated in Jan 2018.
All menus are designed by Paul (head chef) using the highest quality produce that appeal to casual diners through to the ‘gourmet palette’. We only use premium quality ingredients, flours, imported cheeses and premium small goods.
Vatutto aims to use the finest Australian sustainable produce. Seafood is delivered twice daily and diners here are fortunate enough to have an amazing selection ranging from fresh calamari, Fresh Lobster, export grade King prawns , diver harvested scallops, ,live spanner crabs, freshly shucked oysters (seasonal) and extensive selection of line caught fish including John Dory, Rockling , New Zealand Salmon and wild barramundi from the Northern Territory.
Apart from the extensive seafood selection menu includes steak, home-made pasta, poultry, duck, risotto, veal, and juicy steaks. All the beef here is dry aged Wagyu beef from Gippsland Victoria.
Bread is baked twice a day, and all desserts, pastries, ice-creams are all made in house using the highest quality ingredients.
Vatutto translates from Italian as ‘Everything goes’.
As the name suggests the venue offers a vast variety of cuisines. The floor space here is divided between a bar area offering light tapas snacks, bistro, and restaurant. Join us at any time of the day for a casual bite to eat or drink, or for a relaxed dining experience head to either our bar, bistro or restaurant for lunch or dinner.
